We recently unveiled our new Callidus Adelaide workshop facility in Gillman, the event was held on the 23rd of January.
The facility is a 10-minute drive from the previous workshop in Wingfield – The new address is 2 Maritime Court Gillman, SA, 5013.
For those who visited the previous facility, this is a significant step up in aesthetics, size and functionality.
This facility will enable us to:
- Hold both customer and Callidus inventory,
- Handle larger sizing and volumes of work (2 overhead cranes and large laydown areas) and;
- House a larger team of staff.
A cleanroom is still to be installed which we didn’t have at the previous facility. The workshop is fitted with solar panels which should see our electrical operating costs reduced.
All of the above make this is a significant improvement on the old location.
This will enable growth to support customers in the region. We are proud of the facility and what it will do to support our clients and suppliers.
A large turnout of 60 people including customers, suppliers, local politicians and government officials came to the event. Also, Callidus staff from other locations, along with staff from Pon and other Pon companies attended.
It was a great surprise when Janus presented a cheque to the SA government for the bushfire appeal supporting Cuddlee Creek and Kangaroo Island.
A big thanks to all the team in South Australia for their excellent work in getting the facility up and running. A special mention to Brett Russell, Chris Andrew, Talitha Farrell for their efforts. It has been an excellent result.
