Callidus Group recognises that training is an essential tool in achieving our business goals.  We are committed to providing staff development and encouraging our staff to be the best they can be.

Our training gives employees opportunities, skills and knowledge. We believe that training should be consistent. For that reason, our training schedule stops for nothing.

Our internal training is a comprehensive valve curriculum. The valve curriculum is based on a standard format that includes a large practical component, trouble shooting and modes of failure.

Other courses run internally include: pressure testing, PSV, instrumentation, tube bending, torque and tensioning, profiler, acoustic monitoring, micrometre and Vernier and calibration. Our facilities include a purpose built training room.

Our aim is to mentor and safely train all of our staff including our apprentices. We provide high quality employment for our apprentices and trainees, through regular rotation in different areas, locations and processes. Apprentices are given comprehensive competency assessments and assigned mentors. Callidus was awarded “employee of the year” for its high quality apprenticeships by Polytechnic West and continues to acknowledge that our apprentices are valued employees.
